    We recently had the pleasure of catching up with beloved K&K couple Lucas & Ellie, to learn about their beautiful proposal at Hasting's Point and disclose with us their reasons for trusting Kate & Kole for their forever ring.

How did you find out about Kate & Kole?

"Not a very exciting story but many years ago Kate & Kole popped up on my Instagram, so I pressed follow even though I was a long way off getting engaged. It wasn't until about a year ago when Luke and I started seriously talking about getting engaged that I found K&K again while researching lab grown engagement ring jewellers!"

Why did you choose to work with us? Was there anything in particular that drew you and your partner to our brand?

"Apart from the longstanding reputation Kate & Kole has for quality craftsmanship, ethical practices and amazing reviews, Luke and I are truly just suckers for anything sentimental! When we saw that K&K was founded by 2 females in 2015 (the same year we started dating) we knew we wanted to work with you guys!"

Which ring did you choose for your forever piece, and why?

"We chose the Rya, which is a radiant cut diamond solitaire featuring an open bezel setting with a 1.8mm round gold band. We chose the Rya because of its unique yet timeless look - it is simple yet so detailed. We were also drawn to this ring because of how secure, practical and durable open bezel settings are."

What was your favourite part of your Kate & Kole experience?

"I will let Luke answer this one!"

"The exceptional communication throughout the entire process hands down! From the order being placed to the final delivery, every interaction was nothing short of amazing. The team was always available to answer my questions and they kept me informed at every step. They truly made what could have been a stressful experience so enjoyable. The little bottle of Moet with the ring when it was delivered was also a highlight!"

  2. Tell us a little bit about your proposal

    "Luke proposed to me at Hasting's Point NSW - the same spot he asked me to be his girlfriend 9 years ago. He involved our beautiful border collie, Meeka, by having the tag on her collar engraved with "Marry me Ellie?". Luke dropped the knee and I of course started bawling while our friends watched from afar and got the whole thing on film. We all celebrated with mimosas on the beach at 10:00am, how good!"
