    A considered appointment from wherever you are.

    We know not everyone can make it into our Newcastle studio, which is why we offer virtual appointments with the same care and standard as an in-studio consultation.

    During your appointment, we can talk through your options, answer questions and show you relevant styles on the video call. Afterward, our team can also send through additional imagery and videos to help you compare pieces and feel confident in your next step.

    Virtual appointments are available daily and are suitable for engagement rings, wedding bands, fine jewellery and design consultations.

    Your appointment is a guided consultation with our team.

    We’ll talk through what you’re looking for, explain your options and help you understand the details that matter—stone, setting, metal, fit, wearability, budget and timeline.

    There is no pressure to make a decision on the day. The purpose is to help you move forward with confidence. 

  2. Before your appointment

    You are welcome to bring inspiration images, your timeline, a rough budget if you have one and any jewellery you would like us to consider.

    For wedding band appointments, please bring your engagement ring with you so we can consider the pairing properly.

    For virtual appointments, we recommend having any relevant images, ring sizes or questions ready before your call.

Do I need to visit the studio for an appointment?

No. We offer virtual appointments daily and work with customers interstate and internationally. Your virtual consultation will be held with the same care and standard as an in-studio appointment. We can show you styles during the call and send additional imagery or videos afterward if needed.
Do I need to know what I want before booking?

No. We will guide you through the options and help you understand the best next step.
Which appointment should I choose for engagement rings?

Choose an Engagement Ring Consultation for ready-to-wear, signature or bespoke engagement rings. If you cannot visit the studio, choose a Virtual Consultation.
Which appointment should I choose for wedding bands?

Choose a Wedding Band Consultation and bring your engagement ring if you have it. If your engagement ring is from Kate & Kole, we’ll provide a complimentary clean during your appointment.
Can I book if I am not ready to purchase?

Yes. Appointments are designed to help you gather information, compare options and ask questions.
What should I bring or prepare?

Bring inspiration images, your timeline, a rough budget if you have one and any jewellery you would like us to consider. For virtual appointments, have any relevant images, ring sizes or questions ready before your call.
How long are appointments?

Appointment lengths vary depending on the consultation type.

Engagement Ring Consultations, Wedding Band Consultations, Design Consultations, Gold Recycling Consultations, Phone Consultations and Virtual Consultations are generally 30 minutes.

Fine Jewellery Consultations, Short Consultations, ring resize appointments and cleaning appointments are generally 15 minutes.
Can I change or cancel my appointment?

Yes. If your plans change, please update or cancel your appointment as early as possible so we can offer the time to another customer.
Will you get in touch before my appointment?

Yes. Our team will send you a pre-appointment form before your consultation. This helps us understand what you are looking for, gather any important details and prepare the styles before we meet.

The more we know beforehand, the more we can maximise your appointment time and create a personalised experience for you.
Do you offer appointments for jewellery care?

Yes. We offer short consultations for ring resizing, fit checks and simple care questions.

We also offer complimentary clean and care for all Kate & Kole pieces, available anytime you are in the studio. For wedding band appointments, we recommend bringing your Kate & Kole engagement ring so we can clean it while we guide you through your band options.
