Shipping Rates

Australia
All orders dispatched within Australia are sent with FREE Express Shipping. This method of shipping includes a tracking number. All orders valued at $500 or over are sent with a signature on delivery. For orders under $500, you can choose to have a signature on delivery at checkout or they can be left in a safe place. Our bespoke engagement rings and wedding bands are all sent with a courier service and will require a signature on delivery. 


New Zealand
All New Zealand orders are dispatched via Express Post from Australia Post. Orders over $500 are sent free delivery. Orders under $499.99 will incur a delivery fee of AUD $20. Duties and taxes, if applicable, are payable by the customer at delivery. 


USA
All USA orders are dispatched securely with DHL. See below for shipping rates. Import duties and Taxes are covered by Kate & Kole. 

There may be additional State sales tax you may be liable for, depending on your location.

Rest of The World
All remaining international orders are dispatched securely with DHL. See below for shipping rates. The customer is liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to. Payment will be required in order for your order to be released from customs. As each piece is custom-made to order, returns due to unverified import costs are not accepted. If an order is returned to us due to refusal to pay import charges, a restocking fee may be applied at our discretion.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

As our pieces are hand-finished in our Newcastle Studio, please allow time for production. The production time will vary from piece to piece. You can find the specific production time for each piece listed within the product page under Shipping & Timings.

You can also see a estimated dispatch date, just above the add to cart button. Please note shipping time frames do not include production time.

We do have a curated collection of Ready To Wear pieces that can be dispatched within 2-3 business days and Ready to Wear Engagement Rings that can be dispatched within 7-10 business days. Once complete, standard orders will be express shipped with Australia Post. Any orders over $2,000 will be sent with a courier.

Do you offer in-studio collection?

Yes, once you have been notified that your order is ready for collection, you are welcome to collect your online order in our Newcastle studio. Please note there is no appointment required. For all engagement ring and wedding band orders, please get in touch with our bespoke team to arrange a suitable time to collect your order. Our studio hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. We also open on Saturday by appointment. We recommend calling the studio to confirm we are open, especially if you are travelling to collect a piece.

What happens If I'm not home for the delivery?

For all Australia Post shipments, your order will be taken to the nearest post office and can be collected with relevant ID. For all courier deliveries, your order will be taken to the nearest depot. Should this happen, you will receive instructions on how to collect your package. Please be aware of this process, especially if you need your delivery for a certain date.

Do you ship to PO boxes?

Yes, all orders that are dispatched with Australia Post can be shipped to a PO Box.

Will I have to pay duties and taxes?

This will vary depending on the recipient's country and the relevant import laws, duties and taxes.

USA import duties are covered by Kate & Kole. There may be additional State sales tax you may be liable for, depending on your location.

For all other International destinations, as the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to. Payment will be required in order for your order to be released from customs. For more information, please see our shipping page. As each piece is custom-made to order, returns due to unverified import costs are not accepted. If an order is returned to us due to refusal to pay import charges, a restocking fee may be applied at our discretion.

Do you require signature on delivery?

Yes, we require a signature on all orders over $500 to ensure your piece arrives safely.

If you need your jewellery by a specific date, please keep this in mind — if no one is available to sign on delivery, your parcel may be taken to the post office for collection, which can add extra time before it reaches you.

Do you ship internationally and interstate?

Yes, we ship Australia-wide and internationally. We will ensure your piece reaches you safely no matter where you are in the world. Orders to Australia and New Zealand are shipped via Australia Post Express Post. All international orders are delivered via DHL with a signature required upon delivery.

How do I track my order?

Once dispatched, you will receive tracking information via the email address connected to your order. You can also track your order by logging into your online account.

Delivery of Goods

All standard orders in Australia, unless requested otherwise by you prior to purchase, are sent without insurance but are sent with tracking.

While we do everything we can to ensure your order is delivered in a timely manner, we will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by any person as a result of delay caused by our carrier that we have no control over or by any event which is out of our reasonable control or foresight including but not limited to any delay caused by an incorrect delivery address being provided to us.

All orders are carefully checked by us prior to dispatch. Insurance on delivery is available at an extra cost on all delivery services.

For non-delivery of goods, please notify us by email as soon as possible.

Receiving Your Order

You must inspect your Kate & Kole piece immediately upon their arrival and if your piece is not in accordance with your order then please contact us within 2 days of receiving your Kate & Kole piece. If you fail to give such notice, your Kate & Kole piece may be deemed to be in all respects in accordance with your order.

This paragraph does not apply if your piece is subject to consumer guarantees imposed under the Australian Consumer Law — where consumer guarantees apply, refer to our Limitation on Claims (below).

Australia - Ready to Wear & Made to Order

All Kate & Kole orders (excluding bespoke) are shipped express via Australia Post.

Orders are processed Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.

Australia Post delivers within 1-4 business days depending on the location. You will receive an email notification with your tracking information once your piece is complete and being shipped to your delivery address.

Kate & Kole are not responsible for inaccurate deliveries caused by an incorrect delivery address being provided to us. Please ensure the details provided at checkout are accurate as Kate & Kole are unable to refund or replace orders that are delivered to the inaccurate address provided to us.

Australia - Bespoke, Engagement & Wedding Bands

Our beautiful bespoke rings are sent directly to your nominated address. Bespoke jewellery pieces are both sentimental & high-value items by nature, they do require signature on delivery.

All our bespoke jewellery is covered under our insurance until it is received by you. We highly recommend personal insurance on bespoke pieces. Our recommendation is Q Report. You can get a custom quote through their website here: https://www.qreport.com.au/9662976

International - USA

USA import duties are covered by Kate & Kole. However, you may be required to pay additional US State sales tax that are required to deliver your order. This will depend on your location.

Orders over A$2000 are insured.

Please note that in accordance with Australian Export Regulations, we declare the exact value of all items and identify the order as dutiable “merchandise.” As a business, we are also prohibited by law from identifying an order as a “gift” for export purposes.

International - Rest of World

All international orders are fully insured during transit and delivered via secure courier with a signature required upon delivery. For detailed information on shipping options, pricing and estimated timeframes, please visit our Shipping page.

Made to Order | Urgent Deliveries

If you require your product urgently, please contact us to find out which rings we currently have in stock. If we have a piece of jewellery that is suitable we will be able to send it out to you express that same day.
