ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a warm detail-driven Bespoke Sales Consultant to guide clients through engagement wedding and bespoke jewellery experiences. You’ll manage the journey from first enquiry through to final handover delivering thoughtful service at every stage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide customer service via email phone and in studio
- Host in studio and virtual appointments
- Manage the sales pipeline from enquiry through to handover
- Work closely with the bespoke and jewellery teams
- Maintain accurate client records and timelines
- Support after-sales care and ongoing client relationships
ABOUT YOU
- Confident organised and customer focused
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Experience in sales or client-facing roles preferred
- A genuine appreciation for craftsmanship and meaningful jewellery
- Jewellery experience is a bonus

Studio Assistant

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Studio Assistant to support the day-to-day flow of our Newcastle studio. As the first point of contact for clients, you’ll help create a polished, welcoming environment while ensuring the space runs seamlessly behind the scenes — from appointment preparation to fulfilment and studio upkeep.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet clients warmly and professionally
- Support appointment and consultation set-up
- Maintain organisation and presentation of the front-of-house space
- Assist with careful packing of online and in-store orders
- Maintain a clean and inviting studio environment, including managing deliveries and supplies
- Receive and manage weekly flower deliveries and groceries
- Prepare and reset the studio for appointments and events
- Support across departments during peak periods
- Assist with inventory systems or workflow improvements over time
- Step in to support administrative or studio-based tasks as needed
ABOUT YOU
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Take genuine pride in presentation and consistency
- Reliable and efficient, with the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks
- Confident and warm in customer-facing environments
- Proactive and willing to step in wherever needed
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Experience in fulfilment or handling delicate products is a bonus, though not essential

Packing & Fulfilment Assistant

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Jewellery Fulfilment & Dispatch Coordinator to join our studio team. This role plays a key part in the final stage of the Kate & Kole experience, ensuring every order is carefully checked, beautifully presented and dispatched with care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carefully package jewellery orders in line with Kate & Kole’s presentation and quality standards
- Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring correct items, documentation and packaging are included
- Process shipments accurately, including labels, tracking and courier handovers
- Conduct final quality checks before dispatch to ensure pieces meet order and presentation standards
- Manage daily order fulfilment volumes and meet dispatch deadline
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient packing workspace
- Assist with internal transfers between studio, production and dispatch

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Takes pride in presentation and consistency
- Reliable and efficient, with the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks
- Experience in fulfilment, logistics, or handling delicate products is a bonus, but not essential

Kate & Kole was born in 2015 out of a collaboration between two good friends, Sara and Maddy. With a goal to create something that they both loved, what started as a side-project from a home studio in Newcastle and has evolved into a full-fledged Australian born ring concierge and jewellery brand.
Encapsulating classic style reimagined, Kate & Kole offers timeless fine jewellery centred around quality metals, diamonds and stones. Longevity is at the heart of Kate and Kole, with a commitment to creating deeply intimate and intrinsic pieces to you that leave a gentle footprints on our earth. By working with recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds we are able to thoughtfully compose modern pieces grounded in a practice that acknowledges considered values and ethical transparency.
What we are looking for:
We are currently seeking a full time Jeweller to join our team. Over the last eight years, Kate and Kole have grown steadily and we now have a team of 18. Our studio is an elegant and modern space located in the heart of Newcastle. We are a tight-knit team who are from diverse backgrounds with various skills and experience who all share the same vision of creating re-imagined and modern designs.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Soldering
- Ring re-sizing
- Repair jewellery
- Setting flush, star, micro, bezel, claw (depending on experience)
- Clean up and assembly
- Team and workflow management
Qualifications & experience
- Trade experience is desirable
- University, TAFE or Apprenticeship in Jewellery Manufacture or Design
